Violaine Bouquillard has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2002 and is a Counsel at the firm. She is head of the Family Solutions department and practises tax and property law. She advises a clientele comprising individuals, families, shareholders, investors and family groups, particularly in a Franco-German context.
With a Master’s degree in international taxation (Paris 2 Assas/HEC), a Master’s degree in economic and tax law (University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and a dual degree in French and German law (Franco-German programme Paris 1 / Cologne), Violaine Bouquillard deals with cross-disciplinary issues in personal, family, estate and inheritance tax.
She assists her clients with their tax return obligations (income tax, property tax, inheritance tax), the acquisition or disposal of movable and immovable assets, and the structuring and transfer of their wealth (Dutreil pact, dismemberment, family holding companies, continuity funds, philanthropy). She also provides wealth engineering services, including family governance, shareholder relations, cash flow structuring and financing. In addition, she assists clients with tax audits and litigation and regularly advises expatriates, impatriates, non-residents and joint heirs.
