Marc Pleger has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2005 and is a partner at the firm.
He holds an LL.M. in German and French Law from the Universities of Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne and Cologne, as well as Master’s degrees in Business Law and European Business Law. He completed his studies and practical training in both countries and holds the CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession).
Specialising in commercial litigation and recognised as an expert in liability law, contracts and collective proceedings, Marc has twenty years’ experience advising and representing French and international clients, particularly German-speaking clients, in all French civil and commercial courts. He specialises in complex litigation, particularly in cases involving breach of commercial contracts, contractual and tortious liability, and debt collection, as well as preventive and collective proceedings.
Bilingual in French and German, Marc is also fluent in English.
He is a member of the Association of German Lawyers in France (the French section of the DAV, or Deutscher Anwaltverein), the Legal Committee of the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the EEEI (European Institute of Expertise and Experts).
