Nicolas Helfre is a chartered accountant and partner, with dual training from a business school in France („école de commerce“) and a Master’s degree in international taxation from the University of Mannheim in Germany.
He began his career as an auditor with an Anglo-Saxon firm, working in France and then Germany, before joining a French group providing services to local authorities as accounting director for its German operations. In 2003, he joined Coffra group, where he has been a partner since 2007.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Nicolas advises subsidiaries of international groups established in France as well as French companies operating in Germany. He mainly works on cross-border issues relating to accounting, tax and social security, providing them with pragmatic solutions tailored to their needs and information systems.
Nicolas has also developed tax and accounting expertise in the renewable energy sector in conjunction with a dedicated team within Coffra group.
Speaking French, German and English, he is working in an international environment, in close collaboration with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
